Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2016, to June 30, 2019. Ratified on Feb. 14, 2017. Signed on April 25, 2017.
Shift premium: $2.75 per hour when majority of hours fall between 4 p.m. and midnight. $2.25 per hour for weekends. $1.50 per hour when working temporary out-of-scope assignment. $1 per hour for pharmacy technicians performing IV supervisory duties.
Paid holidays: 11 days, plus 1 floater day.
Vacations with pay: 15 days to start, 20 days after 2 years, 25 days after 10 years, 30 days after 20 years.
Overtime: Double time for all work after 8 hours per day, maximum 16 hours in 24-hour period. May be taken as time off.
Pension: Employer and employee each contribute 3% to Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd. Pension Plan for Eligible Hourly Employees.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (spouse, parent, child, brother, sister, fiancé, grandparent, grandchild, stepparent, stepchildren, stepbrother, step-sister). 3 days for death of mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, legal guardian. Additional 2 days for travel more than 320 kilometres one way.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Call-in pay: The greater of: minimum 3 hours’ pay or hours worked at double time.
Probationary period: 1,040 hours (previously 1,007 1/2 hours).
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.
Severance: 2 weeks’ pay per year of service, maximum 40 weeks.
Mileage: $0.38 per kilometre when travelling for call-in pay.

Sales clerk: $12.20 rising 2 steps to $15
Pharmacy technician: $26.55 rising 2 steps to $28.55
Pharmacist: $47.88 rising 2 steps to $47.86
