Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2018, to May 31, 2020. Ratified on Sept. 4, 2018. Signed on Sept. 4, 2018.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective June 1, 2018: 2.25%
Effective June 1, 2019: 2.5%
Shift premium: $0.25 per hour for employees designated as first-aid attendants, maximum 2 employees on day shift; 1 employee on night shift. $0.10 per hour for employees designated as back-up first-aid/CPR attendants or for any employee who has first-aid/CPR certification on own accord. $0.90 per regular straight time hour worked during afternoon and night shift for employees not working continental work-week shifts. Lead-hands will be paid 2 job classes above own job class.
Paid holidays: 12 days. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month, maximum 10 days to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years, 4 weeks or 8% after 10 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 16 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 5 hours per day (Monday to Friday); for work on Saturday, Sunday, plant holiday. Double time after 11 hours per day or after 4 hours on Saturday. May be banked. 
Meal allowance: Employer will reimburse for cost of meal if employee wasn’t notified on previous work day about overtime work. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums. Employees will be required as condition of employment to participate in pension plan and the health and welfare benefits program. Employer will provide health-care spending account: $350 per year for individual coverage; $500 per year for family coverage.
Dental: 100% coverage for routine, basic services; 50% coverage for major services, maximum $1,500 per person per year. $1,000 lifetime orthodontic coverage.
Vision: $250 per person every 2 years for glasses. $75 every 2 years for eye exams.
Paramedical: $350 per practitioner per year for chiropractor, osteopath, naturopath, chiropodist/podiatrist, psychologist, speech therapist, massage therapist.
STD: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 66 2/3% of weekly earnings, maximum $850 per week.
LTD: Employee pays 100% of premiums for coverage of 65% of base earnings per month, maximum $10,000 per month.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of greater of 1-times current salary or $60,000.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums for coverage of greater of 1-times current salary or $60,000.
Bereavement leave: 5 days (4 days for 10- or 12-hour employees) for death of spouse, child, parent. 3 days for death of brother, sister, grandchildren, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents, grandparents-in-law. 1 day for death of brother-in-law, sister-in-law. 
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at double time if employee hasn’t been provided with at least 24 hours’ advance notice of call-in. Time and one-half if employee has been provided with 24 hours’ advance notice. 
Probationary period: 480 working hours. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Safety shoes: $200 per year (previously $185 per year) for required metatarsal safety footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will furnish required personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees to use/wear to safely perform work required.

Editor’s notes: Medical examinations: Employer will bear costs of annual medical examinations and will provide necessary time off in order that class-1 driving licenses are maintained by tractor-trailer drivers. Hearing aids: $400 every 5 years.
