Renewal agreement: Effective Feb. 1, 2023 to Jan. 31, 2025. Signed on Feb. 6, 2023.
Shift premium: 7.5% for lead-hands. 15% for foreman. $2 per hour for all hours worked when majority of scheduled hours fall between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: All employees will receive 6% vacation pay on each pay period. Employer will consider vacations at times requested considering business requirements.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked in excess of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. Time and one-half for all hours worked on regularly scheduled day off; statutory holidays.
Medical benefits: CLAC health and welfare trust fund.
Dental: 100% up to $2,000 per person per year for basic services. 50%, maximum $2,000 per person per year for major services. 50%, maximum $3,000 lifetime per child younger than 19 for orthodontic.
AD&D: Coverage of $100,000.
Life insurance: Coverage of $100,000.
Pension: Employer, employee will contribute to RSP and pension plans (employer, employee contribute 2%).
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, children (including in-law children), legal dependent, father, mother, brother, sister, legal guardian, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother in-law, sister in-law, grandparents, grandchildren.
Safety shoes: All employees will wear CSA-approved safety shoes/boots and safety hats where required, furnished by employee as per site requirements. Each employee is eligible for boot allowance of $100, 1 time per year for CSA-approved boots.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will furnish employees with reasonable supply of gloves, safety equipment, including safety glasses, body harnesses with lanyards.

Editor’s notes: Accommodation allowances: Minimum $125 per day; minimum $50 per day partial accommodation allowance (food allowance) when employer provides hotel accommodation. Union-management meetings: Flat flee of $25 to committee member for each meeting attended.
