Renewal agreement: Effective Dec. 21, 2017, to June 30, 2020. Signed on Feb. 2, 2018.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 3 weeks or 6% to start, 4 weeks or 8% after 8 years, 5 weeks or 10% after 15 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all work after 9 hours per day or 45 hours per week. Time and one-half for all work on Saturday and Sunday.
Meal allowance: $30 if employee works more than 12 unplanned hours per day.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums for Prairie Teamsters Health and Welfare Plan.
Pension: Employer will contribute $4.50 per hour (previously $6 per hour) to Teamsters Prairie Provinces Pension Plan.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family. 1 additional day for travel more than 400 kilometres from base terminal of employment.
Seniority – recall rights: 180 days.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay at overtime rate, but after completion of duty, employee may book off with a minimum 2 hours’ pay.
Probationary period: 90 days.
Safety shoes: $275 per year.
Mileage: $0.51 per kilometre when employee is required to use own vehicle for business purposes.
