Renewal agreement: Effective March 24, 2016, to March 23, 2019. Signed on May 31, 2017.
Shift premium: 10% of hourly rate will be paid for all hours worked on Sunday or on afternoon shift. 15% of hourly rate will be paid for all hours worked on night shift. 5% above journeyman broadband network technician for in-charge premium.
Paid holidays: 12 days, plus one-half day each for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. 
Overtime: Double time for all work after regular hours per day or per week. May be banked, maximum 10 days per year. 
Meal allowance: Hot meals will be paid for — maximum $16 reimbursement ($13 breakfast maximum when working before shift starts) — when employee works more than 2 hours beyond regular work day. 
Medical benefits: Employer will make payments toward B.C. Medical Services Plan and union’s health and welfare plan (maximum $302.41 per month for family, $296.40 per month for couple, $216.76 for single). 
Sick leave: 6 days per year, maximum 5 banked sick days may be carried forward per year. 
Pension: Employer will contribute 7.5% of gross annual earnings, employee will contribute 3% to RRSP. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (parents, spouse, children, brothers, sisters, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparents, spouse’s grandparents, blood relatives living under same roof as employee). 2 additional days if travel required outside province. 3 days for death in spouse’s immediate family. 
Seniority – recall rights: 6 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours’ pay at overtime rate, from time employee leaves home until arriving back at home. 
Probationary period: 120 days. 
Mileage: $0.40 per kilometre.
