Wage adjustments:

Shift premium: Double time for work during normal rest periods, if 8 hours of rest are not provided. $2.25 per hour to night lead-hand and weekend afternoon lead-hand for all hours worked. Store attendant will be paid $2 per hour for all hours worked. Responsibility pay of $2.25 per hour will be paid to weekend day lead-hand and weekday evening lead-hand for all hours worked. $1.75 per hour worked to employee that works shift between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. $1 per hour (previously $1.50 per hour) to employee for each hour worked as project worker. $1.75 per hour for actual hours worked between 7 a.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. Sunday. $1 per hour (previously $0.75 per hour) to employees conducting training.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 10 days to start, 15 days after 4 years, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 20 years.
Overtime: Double time for work after 7.25, 7.5, 8 hours per day.
Medical benefits: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. $300 every 2 years.
Paramedical: Employer pays 75% of premiums, employee pays 25% of premiums. $500 each year for psychologists. $600 each year (previously $400 each year) for bundled chiropractors, massages. Unlimited for physiotherapy.
Sick leave: 1.5 days per month for full-time employees; 0.66 days per month for part-time employees. Employee may roll over any unused sick leave, maximum 20 working days for full-time employees; 9 days for part-time employees. Effective January 2022 and January 2023, employees may roll over any unused sick leave, maximum 30 days for full-time employees; 12 days for part-time employees.
Pension: Employer will contribute $0.50 per hour (previously $0.15 per hour) to RRSP. Employees will contribute minimum $0.50 per hour to RRSP but may contribute more.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death of spouse (including common-law spouse), child, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, grandchildren, aunt, uncle, fiancé, daughter-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, grandparent (both sides), stepchildren, niece, nephew, son-in-law, parent, father-in-law, guardian, stepparents. 1 day to attend funeral for death of another relative or close friend. Leave will be extended by up to 2 days, without pay, if travel in excess of 322 kilometres from employee’s residence is necessary.
Seniority – recall rights: 180 days following layoffs.
Call-in pay: Minimum of 3 hours of pay.
Probationary period: 3 months from date of hire (period may be extended up to 3 months).
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months for written discipline warnings for poor conduct, unsatisfactory job performance, infractions of employer’s rules, regulations or policies.
Safety shoes: $100 per year for slip-resistant work footwear.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will furnish and maintain, without charge, uniforms that employer requires employee to wear.

Editor’s notes: Doctor’s notes: Employer will reimburse doctor’s notes, maximum $100 per year for full-time employees; $50 per year for part-time employees. Pressing necessity: 3 days, without loss of pay in each year, if employee unable to report to work due to unanticipated circumstances of pressing necessity which require employee’s personal attention (may include illness in employee’s immediate family). Prescription safety glasses: $150 per year.
