Renewal agreement: Effective March 1, 2015, to Feb. 28, 2019. Signed on March 1, 2015.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective March 1, 2016: 2%
Effective March 1, 2017: 2%
Effective March 1, 2018: 1.5%
Paid holidays: 11 days. Remembrance Day considered a non-working day, but shall not be a paid holiday when it falls on a weekend.
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month of service to a maximum of 10 days to start, 2 weeks after 1 year, 3 weeks after 2 years, 4 weeks after 8 years, 5 weeks after 16 years (5 of which can be taken other than during summer and school closures, subject to operational requirements), 6 weeks after 24 years (10 of which can be taken during summer and school closures, subject to operational requirements). Employee entitled to at least 20 days of vacation can take up to 5 days during winter or spring breaks, subject to operational requirements. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for first 4 hours of overtime per day and double time for all hours worked thereafter. Where employee is assigned to work overtime to provide coverage for community or other scheduled approved activities on day of rest, time and one-half for first 8 hours and double time thereafter. For coverage of non-scheduled approved activities on day of rest, double time for all hours worked. Double time on general holidays. Can be taken as lieu time to a maximum of 40 hours.
Sick leave: 2 days per month with at least 10 days’ pay. In any one year in which an employee has not had sick leave, or has had only a portion, can accrue the unused portion. Unpaid sick leave may be granted for employees who don’t qualify for sick leave or are unable to return to work.
Life insurance: Employer administers group life insurance plan.
Pension: Employer administers employee pension plan.
Bereavement leave: Up to 5 paid days for death of spouse, child, parent, sibling, parent-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, relative living in same household. 1 paid day for death of sibling-in-law. One half-day to attend funeral as pallbearer or mourner with manager’s approval.
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 2 hours' pay if called back after finishing regular work same day.
Probationary period: 6 months.
Mileage: IT employees required to use their own personal vehicle to travel between schools receive $300 per year.

Technician: $25.52  rising in 4 steps to $28.58
Editor’s notes: Power engineer’s certificate: For positions requiring certificate, all employees hired or promoted into these positions must possess current certificate or equivalent as required by Department of Labour.
