Renewal agreement: Effective June 1, 2017, to May 31, 2019. Signed on April 24, 2017.
Shift premium: Lead hand: $2 per hour more than journeyman rate. Foreman: $4 per hour more than journeyman rate. Night shift: $2 per hour for hours between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Paid holidays: 11 days.
Vacations with pay: 6% pay to start, 7% pay after 5 years, 8% pay after 10 years.
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after regular hours.
Meal allowance: Hot meal provided if employer doesn’t notify of 11-hour or more shift the previous day.
Dental: Basic services: 100%, maximum $2,000 per person per year. Comprehensive: 50%, maximum $2,000 per person per year. Orthodontic: 50%, maximum $3,000 lifetime per child younger than 19.
Vision: Younger than 21: $300 per year. Older than 21: $300 every 2 years.
LTD: 60% of earnings, maximum $2,600 per month, payable after 119 days.
AD&D: $60,000 coverage.
Life insurance: $60,000 coverage.
Pension: $2.50 per hour per employee to CLAC Group Retirement Savings Plan. Additional $1 per hour for journeymen tradesmen with more than 1 year of service.
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death of spouse, common-law spouse, child, siblings, parents; employee’s spouse’s, child, siblings or parents. 1 additional day for death of employee’s or employee’s spouse’s grandparents.
Probationary period: 3 months.
Safety shoes: Employer will provide safety shoes
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide long-sleeved shirts, rain gear.
Tool allowance: Specialty tools will be provided by employer.

Employer-specific training fund: $0.03 per hour to employer-specific training account held in trust by CLAC Alberta Training. Accommodation allowance: $120 per day (previously $110 per day).
