Renewal agreement: Effective April 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019. Signed on Jan. 10, 2017. 
Wage adjustments: 
Effective April 1, 2016: 2%
Effective April 1, 2017: 2%
Effective April 1, 2018: 2%
Shift premium: $0.75 per hour for mechanics working afternoon and weekend shifts. $1.25 per hour for lead hands. $1.25 per hour (previously $1 per hour) for trainers.
Paid holidays: 10 days plus 1 floating day. 
Vacations with pay: 1 week or 2% to start, 2 weeks or 4% after 1 year, 3 weeks or 6% after 5 years. 
Overtime: Time and one-half after 10 hours per day or 60 hours per week. For drivers on mileage rate, 1/2 the basic hourly rate for overtime hours on top of mileage rate. Time and one-half for work more than 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week for shop personnel. Time and one-half for work between 9 p.m. Saturday and 9 p.m. Sunday.
STD: 66.7% of weekly earnings
AD&D: $25,000 coverage. 
Life insurance: $25,000 coverage. 
Bereavement leave: 3 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law partner, father, mother, spouse or common-law partner of the father or mother, children, children of the employee’s spouse or common-law partner, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, grandfather, grandmother, father, mother of the spouse or common-law partner, spouse or common-law partner of the father or mother, any relative who resides with the employee).
Seniority – recall rights: 24 months.
Call-in pay: Minimum 4 hours’ pay, at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 90 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 12 months.
Severance: The greater of: 2 days' wages per year worked or 5 days’ wages. 
Safety shoes: Employer will provide safety footwear once per year at a designated outlet (previously $200 per year). 
Tool allowance: $10 per week (previously $7 per week) when shop employees are required to provide tools.

Truck and coach technician (licenced): $30.60 rising 3 steps to $32.47
Group 2 
Truck trailer technician (licenced): $27.28 rising 3 steps to $28.96
Welder: $28.60 rising 3 steps to $30.35
Group 3 
Lube technician: $21.44 rising 3 steps to $22.76
Tire technician: $21.44 rising 3 steps to $22.76
Group 4 
Truck and coach technician: $30.60 rising 3 steps to $32.47
Apprentice 4: $26.32 rising 3 steps to $27.94
Apprentice 3: $25.40 rising 3 steps to $26.96
Apprentice 2: $24.17 rising 3 steps to $25.64
Apprentice 1: $23.56 rising 3 steps to $25
Group 5 
Labourer: $18 rising 3 steps to $19.10
Driver’s mileage rate: 0.439
Editor’s notes: USW Humanity Fund: The employer will deduct $0.02 per hour per employee for the fund. Extraordinary work: All hours spent on training, safety meetings and drug tests will be considered as time worked and will be paid at a minimum of 4 hours. Standby compensation: Employee assigned to regular standby duty will receive $45 per day for any 24-hour period. Safety bonus: $50 per month. Cellphones: The employer will provide slurry tractor drivers with cellphones for use while on the job.
