Renewal agreement: Effective Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2018. Ratified on Aug. 28, 2017. Signed on Nov. 2, 2017. 
Shift premium: 3% of regular rate of pay in addition to regular rate of pay or minimum salary for higher-paid position — whichever is greater — when employee qualifies in acting incumbency position. $1.50 per hour when working shift where at least one-half of hours are between 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. $1.50 for each hour (previously $1.25 for each hour) worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.
Paid holidays: 12 days, plus one-half day on Christmas Eve, plus 1 floater day. 
Vacations with pay: 1 day per month to start, 15 days after 1 year, 30 days after 5 years. 
Overtime: Double time (previously time and one-half) for all work after regular hours. May be banked, maximum 80 hours and must be taken within 12 months. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums for Alberta Health Care. Employees will receive $400 per year for flex spending account. Effective Jan. 1, 2018: $500 per year. 
Dental: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
Vision: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
Weekly indemnity: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
Sick leave: One-half day per month, maximum 120 days. 
LTD: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
AD&D: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 85% of premiums, employee pays 15% of premiums.
Bereavement leave: 4 days for death in immediate family (spouse, common-law spouse); any of following relations of employee or spouse: parent, guardian, parent-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, son, daughter, brother, sister, husband or wife of any of them. 2 additional days for travel more than 250 kilometres 1 way. 
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ pay at overtime rate. 
Probationary period: 60 working days or 12 months, whichever comes first.
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Safety shoes: $175 per year. 
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will provide uniforms, bathing suits, coveralls, smocks when required. $150 per year (previously $100 per year) to inside workers to maintain business-casual appearance.
