Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2015, to Sept. 30, 2018. Signed on July 26, 2016. 
Shift premium: $0.80 per hour when majority of hours fall between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. for security patrol or security supervisors.
Paid holidays: 13 days. 
Vacations with pay: 15 days per year to start, 20 days after 8 years, 25 days after 19 years. 10 days may be carried forward per year. 
Overtime: Time and one-half for all hours worked after regular hours. May be taken as time off. 
Meal allowance: 30 minutes paid time to obtain a meal and $12, if employee is called in for work more than 2 hours before regular shift begins, for overtime work of more than 2 hours after shift ends, when employee is called in with less than 18 hours’ notice to work on a normal day of rest. Maximum 4 meal allowances per 24-hour period. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50%.
Dental: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50%.
Sick leave: 6 months’ leave vested after probationary period ends.
LTD: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50%. 
Life insurance: Employer pays 50% of premiums, employee pays 50%.
Pension: Participation is mandatory for the Public Service Shared Risk Plan. 
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family (mother, father, spouse, common-law spouse, son, daughter, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-In-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law). 1 day for death in extended family (brother-in-law, sister-In-law, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, spouse’s grandparent). 1 additional day if employee must travel more than 300 kilometres for a funeral. 1half-day to serve as a pallbearer. 
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Call-in pay: Minimum 3 hours’ pay, at time and one-half.
Probationary period: 120 days. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 18 months.
Safety shoes: $140 per year. Additional $140 per lifetime of agreement for those workers on the asphalt paving crews, or foreperson cleaners.
Uniforms/clothing: Employer will supply 2 sets of coveralls to heavy equipment operators, welders, auto mechanics, shift operators 1, shift operators 2, shift operators maintenance, maintenance engineers, truck/tractor operators. $65 per year winter clothing allowance will be paid to equipment operators, labourers. $65 per lifetime of agreement for foreperson cleaner, cleaner 2s. $65 per year clothing allowance for painter & decorator, spray & sign, foreperson painter, offset machine operator 2, offset machine operator 3, pressman & offset press operator, receiving, shipping clerk 1 (print services), utility worker 2 (HIL). Security patrol will receive: 1 baseball cap, 1 toque (winter), 4 shirts (2 long-sleeve, 2 short-sleeve), 2 ties, 2 pairs of pants, 1 patrol jacket, 1 winter coat, 1 sweater, 1 pair of puncture and protective gloves. Effective July 1 each year, employee will receive 1 long-sleeve shirt, 1 short-sleeve shirt, 1 pair of pants. Replacement gloves will be provided as needed. 
Mileage: Employer’s prevailing mileage rate plus $0.06 per kilometre for employees required to travel on campus or in Fredericton.

Editor’s notes: Convocation or Encaenia leave: 1 day with pay for convocation or Encaenia at the University of New Brunswick or St. Thomas University. Retirement: Employees will receive allowance of 5 days’ pay for each year of service, maximum 125 days. Will be paid as a lump sum — on or before June 30 — following their 65th birthday.
