Renewal agreement: Effective July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2020. Signed on July 11, 2017.
Wage adjustments: 
Effective July 1, 2017: 1.25%.
Effective July 1, 2018: 1.25%.
Effective July 1, 2019: 1.25%.
Paid holidays: 10 days. 
Vacations with pay: 22 days or 1.83 days per month after 1 year, 25 days after 12 years, 30 days after 24 years. 
Meal allowance: When travelling, employees will receive $70 per diem: $10 for breakfast; $15 for lunch; $30 for dinner; $15 for incidentals. 
Medical benefits: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Dental: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Vision: $450 every 24 months.
Paramedical: $1,000 maximum per year for psychologists, masters of social work, clinical counsellors. Maximum for services other than those outlined will be $600 per year.
AD&D: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Life insurance: Employer pays 100% of premiums.
Pension: Employer will contribute 7% to Wilfrid Laurier University Pension Plan. Employees will contribute 8% (previously 7.5%) for earnings below year’s maximum pensionable earnings (YMPE) and 10% (previously 9%)  for earnings above YMPE.
Bereavement leave: 5 days for death in immediate family. 
Seniority – recall rights: 12 months. 
Discipline: Sunset clause is 2 years.

Associate: $95,616 rising 2 steps to $98,021

Librarian 3: $74,366 rising 2 steps to $76,237

Librarian 1: $59,022 rising 2 steps to $60,507
Sample rates of overload stipends (current, after 3.2% increase):
One-term undergraduate course: $7,799 rising 2 steps to $8,050

24 or more: $6,500
11-23: $5,500

(When number of students enrolled in 0.5-credit course exceeds 25, employee will receive additional $65 per student; when number of students enrolled in 1-credit course exceeds 25, employee will receive additional $130 per student).
Editor’s notes: Tuition benefits: Employee, employee’s dependent children and spouse are eligible for tuition waiver benefit. Daycare: Employer will make available to employees, daycare program at locations appropriate to Waterloo and Brantford campuses. Athletic-facility use and parking: Employees will have right to use university’s athletic facilities for $257.47 plus taxes per year. Effective May 1, 2018: $262.62 plus taxes. Effective May 1, 2019: $267.87 plus taxes. Employees may use parking facilities for $395.16 plus taxes per year. On May 1 of each subsequent year, fee will be increased by 1.25%.
