Shift premiums: Jan. 1, 2026: $0.30 per hour for afternoon shift, $0.45 for night shift; Jan. 1, 2028: $0.35 for afternoon shift, $0.50 for night shift
Overtime/court time: 1.5 times regular hourly rate
Service pay: Jan. 1, 2027: $500 for 5 to 9 years, $800 for 10 to 19 years, $1,000 for 20 to 29 years, $2,000 for 30+ years; Jan. 1, 2029: $600 for 5 to 9 years, $900 for 10 to 19 years, $1,200 for 20 to 29 years, $2,200 for 30+ years
Experience pay: 3% after 10 years’ service, 6% after 15 years, 9% after 23 years
Paid holidays: New Year's Day, Family Day, Labour Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Thanksgiving Day, Victoria Day, Christmas Day, Canada Day, Boxing Day, Civic Holiday, Remembrance Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Vacations with pay: 10 days after 1 year’s service, 15 days after 5 years, 20 days after 10 years, 25 days after 15 years, 30 days after 22 years, 35 days after 27 years
Sick leave: 12 days per year
Personal days: 4 days per year; 4 days for marriage
Employee benefits: 100% for member life insurance, dependant life insurance, hospital benefit major medical benefit, pay direct drug, dental benefit, AD&D, OMERS; 75% for LTD
Bereavement leave: 5 days for wife, husband, child, grandchild, parents, siblings, grandparents, parents-in-law; 1 day for grandparents-in-law, siblings-in-law, aunt, uncle, foster child, niece, nephew
Probationary period: 375 days
Discipline: Sunset clause of 2 years
Uniforms/clothing: (Major Crime Team, General Investigators, Investigative Support) Jan. 1, 2026: $1,50, Jan. 1, 2027: $1,600, Jan. 1, 2028: $1,650; (Intelligence section, Mobile Crisis Response Team) Jan. 1, 2026: $1,325, Jan. 1, 2027: $1,350, Jan. 1, 2028: $1,375; all necessary equipment and clothing required including shirts, trousers, boots, dress shoes, cap, toque, gloves, coat, sweater, belt

- Cadet I: $52,506 rising 4 steps to $61,424
