The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, is looking for a human resources manager who will Consult with and coach clients on all human resources management issues, and provide interpretation and advice regarding collective agreements, contracts, government legislation and University policies, procedures, practices and guidelines. The manager will also resolve various case issues, grievances and disputes by researching, documenting processes, participating in discussions, recommending solutions and negotiating settlements as applicable. Ford Motor Company in Oakville, Ont. is looking for a human resources associate who will act as a subject matter expert in health and safety, and coordinate the implementation and continuous improvement of the facility’s safety programs. The associate will also conduct, facilitate or advise as necessary in machinery and equipment design reviews, and review pre-task analyses for all high-risk, non-routine projects.
