Human resources manager

Vebcommerce in Edmonton is looking for a human resources manager who will establish and implement policies and procedures, and train, direct and motivate staff. The manager will also plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies; oversee the analysis of employee data and information; and negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers. Human resources assistant director

The University of Toronto is looking for a human resources assistant director who will be responsible for the oversight and management of payroll, benefits and pension administration, recruitment and on-boarding of staff and job evaluation and salary administration, among others. The assistant director will also provide strategic advice and insight to managers and the HR team based on human resources best practices and relevant policies and collective agreements and employment legislation. Candidates must have a university degree and a Certified HR Professional designation (CHRP) designation and/or a master’s degree in business, HR, industrial relations or a related field, with at least seven years of work experience as an HR generalist in a post-secondary environment. Island Health in Victoria, B.C. is looking for a human resources partner who will provide HR advice and coaching to leaders in their client group to develop and implement human resource and talent strategies, improve service, achieve goals and resolve issues. The partner will also provide interpretation and advice related to collective agreements, non-contract terms and conditions, legal statutes and organizational policy.
