Human resources consultant

The University of Toronto is looking for a human resources consultant who will advise managers on a variety of human resources issues, including job evaluation, recruitment, salary administration, performance management and accommodation based on understanding of collective agreements and employment policies. The consultant will also coach management on the appropriate approach to employee relations, discipline and dismissal situations, and participate in special projects aimed at supporting and retaining staff. Human resources advisor

The Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association in Fort McMurray, AB is looking for a human resources advisor who will support the development of human resource plans and programs that address business needs, and support employee screening and interviewing processes. The advisor will also develop, implement and evaluate recruitment programs and practices that identify potential labour markets, attract potential employees and retain current employees. Human resources business partner

Vale in Greater Sudbury, Ont. is looking for a human resources business partner who will provide expert labour relations advice regarding the application of CBAs, and lead the plant specific grievance administration process, including arbitration case management, and conduct quality workplace investigations. The business partner will also coordinate and deliver HR training materials, including facilitating HR/LR related training to new supervisors. Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in business, labour studies, human resources or a related discipline, with at least five years of experience in a related HR generalist function with increasing responsibility. Maverin is looking for a remote-based senior human resources consultant who will develop resourcing strategies linked to HR plans, job marketing strategy and tools, and provide operational HR services.
