Oetiker in New Tecumseth, Ont. is looking for a human resources manager who will formulate and recommend local HR policies and objectives in accordance with global HR strategy, policies and procedures. The manager will also analyze, create, modify compensation and benefit policies, and monitor and coordinate training, onboarding and offboarding activities. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in business with HR emphasis, along with at least five years of experience in HR operations, preferably in the automotive industry. Innovatia is looking for a remote human resources generalist who will provide consultation to the workforce on the interpretation, application, and adaptation of HR programs, policies and procedures. The generalist will also counsel employees and managers on issues that may arise; escalate issues to senior leadership or engage appropriate resources when additional expertise is required; and support the recruiting requirements of the business. Johnson Electric in Mississauga, Ont. is looking for a human resources generalist who will be responsible for conducting recruitment activities, and tracking, documenting, delivering and facilitating training initiatives. The generalist will also take care of employee relations interaction, coaching and support, and payroll administration. Candidates must be a graduate of a post-diploma program in human resources management or have a degree with HR management option.
