Human resources advisor

The British Columbia government in Nanaimo is looking for a human resources advisor who will provide services in a variety of programs and activities related to human resources, including recruitment, labour and employee relations, job evaluation, disability management, HR information systems, and HR projects. The advisor is expected to ensure that practices are consistent and comply with legislation, collective agreements, and administrative policies and procedures. Candidates must have a diploma in business administration or other relevant disciplines, with five years of related experience in HR work including experience with HRIS systems. Human resources advisor

Glencore in Timmins, Ont. is looking for a human resources advisor who will support managers in all HR-related projects, from day-to-day issues to annual specific projects. The advisor will also plan, conduct and coordinate ad hoc mandates on matters related to human resources and implement value-added solutions through line managers; and investigate and advise both management and employees on human resources matters.
