The RCMP in Surrey, B.C., is looking for a human resources advisors who will be working within a large team that supports managers in hiring public service employees. The RCMP’s HR division has teams focusing on public service staffing, classification, labour relations, regular and civilian member recruiting, career development and resourcing and other similar fields, which offer future growth opportunities for workers. The government of Saskatchewan is looking for a human resource business partner who will work closely with team members on projects or committees to advance the Public Service Commission’s initiatives and strategies. The business partner will also offer strategies to meet the current, emerging and future needs of seniors leaders in the assigned client portfolio, and collaborate with internal subject matter experts in order to provide the innovative solution in such areas as labour relations, talent acquisition and organizational development. Human resources assistant
The Canadian Security Intelligence Service in Ottawa is looking for a human resources assistant who will monitor the progress of recruitment processes and maintaining contact with applicants. The assistant will also administer psychological/written tests, prepare requisitions for various internal services and contribute in a variety of projects. Candidates must have an undergraduate degree and one year of relevant experience or a college diploma and three years of relevant experience, and must be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance. Human resources business partner
York University in Ontario is looking for a human resources business partner who will work under the general direction of the executive director of operations and administration. The business partner will be responsible for providing advice, leadership, guidance and consultation to management within the school regarding HR strategy and organizational design, and support the school’s organization development strategy. Director of human resources
The Nunavut government is looking for a director of human resources who will see the overall development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of HR management activities for the department under the deputy minister. The director will also provide HR advice to the deputy minister and the rest of the senior management team, help facilitate or mediate issues between employees when needed and ensure leave management is properly administered for all employees of the Department of Community and Government Services. Candidates must have a degree in human resources management combined with at least six years of related work experience, a minimum of four years of progressive managerial experience and financial work experience.
