The government of the Northwest Territories is looking for a human resource officer in Yellowknife who will be responsible for the provision of front-line human resource services in the areas of recruitment, employee orientation, job description development, employee recognition and labour relations. Human resources advisor
The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) in Ottawa is looking for a human resources advisor who will develop policy, design and implement programs for the management and employees of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC). Candidates must have at least one year of recent experience in policy or program development or implementation, and in providing advice and recommendations to senior management and employees and in other aspects of HR work. The City of Toronto is looking for a human resources consultant who will work with key stakeholders to develop and implement social media, branding and recruitment strategies to address current and future recruitment challenges. The consultant will contribute to the development of a candidate-centric approach to diverse talent acquisition efforts with a focus on planning, attracting, and sourcing; oversee the City of Toronto social media accounts; and update the company page, job slots and recruiter license activity. Candidates must have considerable experience in developing and executing end-to-end recruitment solutions, and in contemporary talent sourcing and selection techniques along with a post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in an HR field. Indigenous human resources specialist
The government of the Northwest Territories is looking for an indigenous human resources specialist in Yellowknife who will develop, direct, implement and coordinate programs and initiatives aimed at the recruitment and retention of Indigenous Aboriginal people. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Aboriginal Studies, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline with four years of experience delivering programs. This position is limited to Aboriginal Persons indigenous to the present boundaries of the Northwest Territories and includes any Aboriginal person resident at birth and any Canadian Aboriginal persons who have lived more than half of their life in the Northwest Territories. The Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services in Orillia, Ont. is looking for a human resources program advisor who will provide a full range of occupational health and safety program development and management support services to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
