Human resources specialist

Municipal Property Assessment Corporation in Pickering, Ont. is looking for a human resources specialist who will provide guidance, advice and training to management and HR team members. The specialist will ensure consistent application of the collective agreement, provide conflict resolution support and maintain an ongoing positive relationship with union representatives to exchange information and resolve employee relations issues, among others. Candidates must have a university degree in industrial relations, human resources, or other relevant discipline and a combination of five to seven years of experience in labour relations and human resources. Human resources professional

University Health Network in Toronto is looking for an HR professional who will perform duties in both labour relations and employee relations. The HR professional will participate in constructive and principled relationships with seven different unions, with collective agreements that cover more than half of UHN’s 16,000 employees; provide analysis, advice and implementation support for the HR team; and manage grievances and prepare briefs for arbitration. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations, human resources or related discipline plus five to seven years of work experience in labour relations within a large multi-union environment. The Town of Newmarket, Ont. is looking for a human resources recruiter who will be responsible for all facets of the recruitment and selection process. The recruiter may perform other human resources duties as required, and will work under a 12-month contract. Candidates must have a post-secondary diploma in HR Management combined with experience in a Human Resources environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
