Workplace fairness key to successful membership effort
About 75 workers at Robert Q Airbus in London, Ont., voted to join Teamsters Local 879.
The new members include drivers who shuttle travellers to the Detroit and Toronto Airports, and detailers who clean and detail the buses.
According to the union, making the workplace fairer and more structured was especially important to the staff at Robert Q Airbus.
