New collective agreement at Calgary Coca-Cola bottling facility

Deal includes raises, improved part-time rights, said union

Teamsters and Coca-Cola have reached a new collective agreement for workers at the bottling facility in Calgary.

“Because workers were unified and strong throughout the bargaining process, we were able to negotiate a fair deal for both sides,” said David Froelich, secretary-treasurer of local 987.

The deal includes a seven per cent raise over four years, improved rights for part-timers, and other benefits for long-term employees, according to the union.
