Transitional leadership role follows departure of Jodi Kovitz
Lindsay Temple has been named interim CEO of the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA).
An executive coach, Temple has served on the HRPA board of directors and brings “deep experience in HR strategy, enterprise risk management and governance,” says the association.
Temple’s office hours will start Jan. 7, and the HRPA says it is undertaking “a thorough and thoughtful process” to recruit a permanent CEO.
Temple’s background includes HR leadership roles at Miller Waste Systems, Wasteco, Pathwise Credit Union, EP Canada and Durham Region Police Services.
This leadership transition follows the departure of Jodi Kovitz, who assumed the CEO position at HRPA in February 2023.
The HRPA regulates and supports over 24,000 professionals and students.
